About the role

We are looking for an engaged and dedicated Social Helper to join Soralu, an integrated daycare situated in a scenic natural environment. The role focuses on building, maintaining and developing a child‑centered institution where strong relationships and the wellbeing of each child are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape the daily framework and support the institution’s goals for child development and safety.
• Plan and implement development‑focused activities for children in both the nursery and kindergarten groups.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents, participating actively in pedagogical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with required background checks and uphold a safe, nurturing environment.

Required profile

• Formal education as a social helper.
• Ability to take responsibility and work independently.
• Collaborative attitude toward colleagues and parents, with willingness to engage in pedagogical dialogue.
• Adaptable and open to change.
• Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not mandatory.
