About the role

The position leads the Street Team and Bot Training units that support homeless and socially vulnerable citizens in Nuuk. You will ensure continuity of daily operations, coordinate resources, and uphold quality standards across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks, planning and resource allocation for the Street Team and Bot Training, ensuring compliance with quality standards, house rules and lease contracts.
• Provide ongoing professional guidance and sparring to staff, fostering competent, holistic solutions for citizens.
• Maintain communication with other municipal departments, external partners and the public, ensuring clear information flow.
• Monitor task progress, processing times and produce statistical reports for senior management.
• Oversee the small shelter Uummateqarfik, including opening hours and staff responsibilities.

Required profile

• Education as a social worker, pedagogue or equivalent, preferably with further training.
• Experience in team leadership or coordination.
• Strong communication and pedagogical skills, with the ability to create trust and engagement.
• Deep knowledge of the homeless sector and the needs of socially vulnerable individuals.
• Ability to motivate staff through constructive feedback and support.
• Familiarity with quality standards in homeless services; bilingual Greenlandic/Danish is a plus.
