Finance Accounting Consultant

About the role

Air Greenland has created a new Finance Accounting Consultant position for someone with a financial background who wants to work on developing processes, data, digitalisation and optimising systems. The role sits at the interface between finance, business and IT, working closely with colleagues across the group, including IT and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in and coordinate development, upgrade and implementation projects within finance
• Analyse workflows and identify opportunities for optimisation and digitalisation
• Work with data and help develop more effective, automated processes
• Drive new processes from need and development through testing, implementation and operation
• Support the development of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and other finance systems
• Help automate settlement processes and select external suppliers for automation
• Write process descriptions, test plans and documentation
• Support controlling, analysis and reporting tasks

Required profile

• Degree in economics, finance, auditing or business administration
• Experience with finance processes, controlling or business development
• Good understanding of accounting, bookkeeping and financial relationships
• Interest in data, systems and digital solutions
• Ability to turn finance needs into concrete solutions with IT and suppliers
• Comfortable working across finance, business and IT
• Danish and English, written and spoken

Required skills

• ERP experience, such as Dynamics 365 (preferred)
• Analytical, structured and independent approach
