About the role

We are looking for a qualified health aide to work morning shifts providing home‑based care for citizens in Nuuk. The role involves personal care, assistance with shopping, rehabilitation support and ensuring a safe, dignified living environment for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to clients in their own homes.
• Guide and supervise unskilled staff and students during shifts.
• Perform rehabilitative tasks aimed at maintaining or improving functional abilities.
• Administer medication, document care activities and assess client needs.
• Facilitate onboarding of new clients and their relatives.
• Promote health‑preventive measures in collaboration with clients.
• Observe, identify and respond to physical and mental health symptoms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, department leaders and external partners.

Required profile

• Completed education as a health aide or equivalent qualification.
• Responsible, stable and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Willing to enhance professional standards and share expertise.
• Respectful of cultural and individual differences.
• Proactive, independent and capable of working in a team.
