About the role

The Qinngorput residential unit, part of the Handicap and Social Psychiatry department, is looking for a proactive health assistant to support 21 residents with mental disabilities and substance‑use challenges. This full‑time, day‑shift position involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote residents' independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop residents toward greater self‑sufficiency by working on individual care plans.
• Act as medication responsible person, handling dispensing, documentation and follow‑up.
• Motivate and assist residents with daily activities such as walks, shopping, cooking and medical appointments.
• Strengthen the community atmosphere through cooperation with colleagues, management and external partners.

Required profile

• Qualified health assistant (sundhedsassistent).
• Compassionate, approachable and able to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Willing to develop personally and help the department improve resident outcomes.
