About the role

Puiaq, an integrated day institution in Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, is looking for a motivated intern or nutrition assistant to support the dietary needs of children. The position offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic early‑childhood environment and the chance to contribute to the well‑being of up to 64 children.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing and serving meals according to children’s nutritional guidelines.
• Support staff in monitoring food intake and ensuring a safe, hygienic kitchen environment.
• Interact with children, parents and colleagues to promote healthy eating habits.
• Participate in training sessions on child nutrition and related health topics.
• Document meal records and assist with reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Curious, proactive and eager to learn new tasks.

• Clear, respectful communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work on‑site and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
