About the role

We are looking for an engaged and dedicated Social Helper to join Soralu, an integrated childcare institution set in a scenic natural environment near the fjord and sea. The role focuses on fostering strong relationships and supporting the development and well‑being of each child and the group as a whole.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement development‑focused activities for infants and preschool children.
• Maintain a safe, consistent, and nurturing daily routine.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents, participating in pedagogical discussions.
• Contribute to the institution’s goals and uphold its core values of secure attachment, good relationships, and nature‑based pedagogy.

Required profile

• Qualified as a Social Helper (socialhjælper).
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to engage in educational dialogues.
• Fluency in Danish; knowledge of Greenlandic is a plus but not mandatory.
