About the role

Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq in Paamiut is looking for a skilled and motivated consultant to work in the pension area of the Social Service department. The position starts as soon as possible and involves handling pension cases in accordance with current legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess applications for early retirement pension and conduct re‑assessments of existing cases.
• Provide case handling, advice and guidance on early retirement and old‑age pension matters.
• Prepare proposals for the Multidisciplinary Committee and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Develop resource profiles, conduct citizen interviews and participate in tripartite meetings with employers.
• Manage senior budget changes, personal and availability allowances, and pension adjustments.
• Administer pension decisions and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and circulars.

Required profile

• Education equivalent to TNI or similar.
• Experience in case handling within the pension field and a flair for IT systems.
• Service‑oriented, collaborative, positive and detail‑focused.
• Clear written and oral communication, ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Flexibility to adapt to ad‑hoc tasks and a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the GetOrganized system.
• Knowledge of the AX Prisme platform.
• Familiarity with TNI‑type case management processes.
