HR Consultant for Municipal HR Department

About the role

The municipality is looking for an engaged HR consultant to strengthen and develop its HR function. You will join a team that advises managers, handles complex personnel matters, and supports the department’s operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Administrative handling of hires and terminations.
• Manage complex personnel cases in constructive collaboration with leadership.
• Contribute to continuous quality assurance of procedures and workflows.
• Provide sparring, advice and training to managers on personnel issues, including employment law according to the applicable collective agreement.
• Drive development and implementation projects together with colleagues.
• Participate actively in achieving the organization’s goals of respect, responsibility and development.

Required profile

• Experience in HR and case handling.
• Knowledge of personnel administration and public sector collective agreements in Greenland.
• Relevant HR education or equivalent.
• Initiative, service orientation and strong collaboration skills.
• Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, not a requirement.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Getorganized system.
• Familiarity with Mindkey system.
