Teacher for Family Class

About the role

We are looking for a motivated teacher to join the Family Class at Atuarfik Inussuk, a newly developing school in Nuuk. The position is full‑time and involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and regular contact with parents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver project‑based lessons for students in the Family Class (grades 1‑10).
• Work closely with other teachers and the special‑needs department to support inclusive learning.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage classroom dynamics.
• Participate in team meetings, quality development initiatives and school‑wide projects.

Required profile

• Positive, engaged and responsible attitude.
• Strong relational skills and loyalty to the school community.
• Effective classroom leadership.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, management and parents.
• Motivation to work in a flexible, development‑oriented environment.
• Certified teacher with a seminar education.

Required skills

• Teaching certification (seminar‑trained).
