Pedagogically trained staff needed for childcare institution

About the role

We are looking for an engaged and dedicated pedagogically trained employee to join Sikkersoq, a childcare institution that values close relationships and the development and well‑being of each child and group.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to building, maintaining and developing the institution’s daily routines.
• Plan and implement development‑focused activities for children.
• Support the institution’s goals based on its values, including appreciative pedagogy and the use of nature as a learning tool.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create safe, inclusive environments.

Required profile

• Qualified as a pedagogical assistant.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Cooperative attitude towards colleagues and parents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
• Reliability, punctuality and attentiveness to individual child needs.

Required skills

• Planning and organizing child‑centered activities.
• Understanding of appreciative pedagogy and nature‑based learning.
