Pedagogue (2 positions) for AKO Miniklub in Qinngorput

About the role

AKO Miniklub provides after‑school care for children in grades 1‑3, serving up to 180 children aged 6‑9. Two qualified pedagogues are needed to support the team in Qinngorput.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out spontaneous, child‑centered activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Collaborate with school staff to follow each child’s school progress and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the annual pedagogical plan.

Required profile

• Qualified pedagogue or equivalent education with a natural interest in working with children.
• Professional, flexible, and able to listen to children’s needs.
• Ability to work well with colleagues, parents, and school staff.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pedagogical work in accordance with Greenlandic law and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
• Experience in group leadership and curriculum planning.
