About the role

PILU A/S, an ambitious architectural studio based in Nuuk, is looking for skilled sketching case architects to shape the design, analysis and concept development of a variety of new projects across Greenland. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate site conditions, program requirements and client needs into clear architectural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop overarching architectural ideas, concepts and design directions for projects.
• Produce site and program analyses, sketches, visualisations and layout proposals.
• Translate complex functional and economic constraints into coherent design solutions.
• Ensure consistency between architecture, function, spatial experience, materiality and budget.
• Communicate design intent to clients, users, authorities and partners through presentations and visual material.
• Participate in design workshops, incorporate feedback and drive decisive architectural decisions.
• Collaborate closely with project engineers and technical teams to maintain design intent throughout detailed development.
• Contribute to the studio’s quality standards and professional knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Qualified architect with experience in sketching and managing coherent parts of a project.
• Ability to develop concepts and design proposals that respond to site conditions, user needs and project constraints.
• Strong understanding of space, function, materiality, proportion and the relationship between building and context.
