Militær IT-supporter til lokal IT-støtte ved Arktisk Kommando i Nuuk

About the role

The Cyber Division of the Danish Defence Materiel and Procurement Agency is looking for a military IT supporter to provide local IT support at the Arctic Command (AKO) in Nuuk, Greenland. The position starts on 1 November and is initially a two‑year assignment, with the possibility of extension or rotation back to Denmark.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone and on‑site support to all users at AKO and subordinate units.
• Set up, configure and install workstations (FIIN), hardware, network equipment and AV solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network and software issues.
• Install, maintain and optimise Microsoft‑based solutions.
• Install, relocate and support servers.
• Prepare and support mobile phone solutions.
• Conduct user training on new systems.

Required profile

• Rank of Corporal or Constable.
• Qualified as IT supporter, data technician, electronics technician, or equivalent experience.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a willingness to work hands‑on.
• Ability to collaborate equally with team members.

Required skills

• Microsoft solutions (deployment, maintenance, optimisation).
• Server installation and migration.
• Hardware and network troubleshooting.
• AV equipment configuration.
• Mobile phone solution setup.
