Therapeutteam i Nuuk søger to vikarer (fysioterapeut/ergoterapeut)

About the role

The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for two temporary therapists to join its Therapeutic Team in Nuuk. The positions are full‑time (40 hours per week) for a six‑month period, starting as early as 1 November 2026. Candidates may be qualified physiotherapists or occupational therapists willing to work in a municipal setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct professional examinations and assessments of clients.
• Provide maintenance training in clients’ homes, training rooms, pools, or other settings.
• Perform home visits for training, instruction, and evaluation.
• Process applications for assistive devices and housing adaptations.
• Procure, deliver, and train users on assistive devices.
• Meet with clients, relatives, and interdisciplinary partners.
• Offer written and oral advice and guidance.
• Maintain documentation and handle administrative tasks.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Qualified physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
• Experience with training and assistive devices in a municipal context.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Flexibility, cultural adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills; bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage.
