Psychologist / Certified Psychotherapist (Full‑time)

About the role

The Center for Counseling and Family Treatment (CRF) in Nuuk is looking for a qualified psychologist or certified psychotherapist to join its Therapy and Treatment Department. This permanent, full‑time position focuses on providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and families in vulnerable situations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for children, youth, and parents.
• Provide family therapy and parental guidance.
• Perform psychological assessments and write detailed reports.
• Develop treatment plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and attend meetings with authorities.
• Participate actively in professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Degree in psychology (cand.psych.) or certification as a psychotherapist.
• Proven experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, and families.
• Ability to manage complex cases while maintaining structure and overview.
• Strong collaborative skills and capacity to build trustful relationships.
• Self‑directed, responsible, and comfortable with independent decision‑making.
• Empathetic, respectful, and professional attitude toward clients.

Required skills
