About the role

The Therapist Team is looking for a qualified physiotherapist to join a permanent, full‑time position focused on adult care in Nuuk, Greenland. The role starts on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter and involves both individual and group training activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide maintenance training for individuals and groups at activity centres, nursing homes and private settings, including optional pool training.
• Conduct home visits for training, instruction and assessment.
• Assess, prescribe and distribute assistive devices and coordinate related housing adaptations.
• Purchase, deliver and train users in the proper use of assistive devices.
• Collaborate with other professional groups, especially nursing staff in municipal facilities.
• Handle administrative tasks and contribute to interdisciplinary projects within the therapist team.

Required profile

• Qualified physiotherapist with a degree in physiotherapy.
• Experience in elderly or adult care is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and organise own workload.
• Creative, engaged, action‑oriented and grounded in professional knowledge.
• Comfortable working in diverse cultural settings and adaptable to change.
• Team player with good communication skills for training other professional groups.

Required skills

• Knowledge of maintenance training techniques for adults.
• Experience with assessment and provision of assistive devices.
• Ability to conduct home‑based physiotherapy sessions.
