About the role

The municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a qualified Nutrition Assistant to join the kitchen team at Utoqqaat Illuat. You will work in a modern large‑scale kitchen serving 46 residents on full board and providing meals for local pensioners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve regular and special diet meals for residents and pensioners.
• Deliver meals to citizens as required by the visitation service.
• Bake and butter bread, and assist with other kitchen tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen manager, other staff, and external partners to improve service, especially during holidays.

Required profile

• Qualified Nutrition Assistant or equivalent education.
• Experience with dietitian‑level meal planning.
• Team‑oriented, stable, independent and flexible.
• Positive attitude and good sense of humor.

Required skills

• Knowledge of dietary nutrition and special diet requirements.
• Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards.
