About the role

The Integrated Daycare "Paarsisoq" is seeking a dedicated souschef (assistant manager) to support the daily leadership of the institution. You will work closely with the head of the daycare, contributing to the development of children and the continuous improvement of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the head of the institution in managing staff and daily operations.
• Plan and implement pedagogical activities that promote children’s communication, motor skills and social interaction.
• Ensure the use of the institution’s anti‑bullying material (Kammagiitta suitcase) and the seven core principles in everyday practice.
• Maintain close communication with parents and collaborate with colleagues to support each child’s development and well‑being.
• Take responsibility for the unit during the head’s absence, ensuring continuity of care and leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified pedagogue (educational professional) with a recognised diploma.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility in the leader’s absence.
• Strong collaborative attitude towards colleagues and parents.
• Flexibility and willingness to contribute to organisational change.
• Experience planning pedagogical activities and using ITO in early childhood settings.
