Satellite Controller – Active Secret Clearance Required

About the role

The Satellite Controller will support the Satellite Control Network Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support contract at Pituffik SB (Thule), Greenland. The role involves configuring, operating and maintaining communications‑electronics equipment at Remote Tracking Stations to ensure continuous satellite communications.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, operate and maintain assigned satellite systems during support, test and maintenance activities.
• Initiate, direct and verify operational events for acquisition, tracking and commanding functions.
• Perform Senior Contract Representative duties as required.
• Maintain awareness of station equipment status and perform COMSEC duties.
• Assist with repairs, alignment and preventive maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Maintain vehicle folders, prepare daily activity logs and perform systems administration on mission‑related equipment.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to trainees when assigned.
• Execute other collateral duties as directed.

Required profile

• Active SECRET security clearance (or higher) and U.S. citizenship.
• High school diploma or GED; ability to work at heights and perform strenuous physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment and ability to follow technical manuals.
