About the role

The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a development‑oriented consultant to strengthen the future of its daycare services. The role focuses on supporting heads of early‑childhood institutions with administrative, operational and strategic advice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on personnel management, economic control and planning for daycare leaders.
• Design and deliver an effective onboarding programme for new institution heads.
• Assist existing leaders in prioritising administrative tasks and improving work environment.
• Support recruitment and retention strategies to ensure qualified staff.
• Promote sustainable solutions and high‑quality standards across all daycare facilities.

Required profile

• Strong interest in public‑sector development and early‑childhood education.
• Experience advising managers on administrative and operational matters.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple institutions and municipal departments.
• Full‑time availability in Nuuk.
