About the role

Majoriaq Nuuk is looking for two dedicated consultants to work closely with citizens, helping them navigate the labour market and education system. The role combines case work, counselling and development of employment initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cases and register job‑seeking citizens.
• Develop and follow up action plans and employment pathways.
• Provide guidance to the unemployed and organise employment measures.
• Conduct match‑grouping, clarification follow‑up and visitation focused on work ability.
• Create business collaborations and host company cafés.
• Draft hearing letters, decisions and manage benefit stops.
• Process cases related to PKU/PKO courses.
• Participate in development projects and ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Relevant education, preferably with a social‑work background.
• Knowledge of the social, education and labour‑market sectors.
• Structured, initiative‑taking and able to work in a varied environment.
• Respectful, engaged and capable of uncovering citizens' needs.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Experience in counselling, case handling or employment services is beneficial.
