About the role

Tusass is looking for a senior leader to define and drive the information security strategy across the organisation. The role will shape security policies, work closely with IT, operations, engineering and business units, and ensure a resilient telecommunications infrastructure for Greenland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor maturity and risk assessments using the ISMS tool.
• Lead the creation and execution of the annual security awareness programme.
• Support process development for security initiatives, including emergency response plans.
• Maintain and evolve activities outlined in the security department’s yearly plan.
• Oversee audit statements, data‑processor agreements and the renewal of the ISAE 3402 Type 2 certification.
• Manage Enterprise Risk Management projects to identify, assess and mitigate strategic risks.
• Define strategic and tactical frameworks for physical security.
• Report on security, risk and compliance matters to the board and relevant committees.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate security concepts clearly.
• Leadership experience in information security, proactive problem‑solving and structured approach.
• Passion for enhancing security measures within a critical‑infrastructure organisation.
• Relevant experience in the information security field; formal education is not mandatory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards.
• Experience with ISAE 3402 certification processes.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and risk assessments.
• Understanding of physical security controls.
