Construction or Structural Engineer – Ports and Arctic Projects

About the role

Rambøll Grønland A/S is looking for a construction or structural engineer with experience and interest in infrastructure, geotechnics and marine construction. You will join the infrastructure department, mainly working on port projects, from registration through design to execution, including renovation, new builds and strategic planning advice. Work is done in cross-functional project teams, with travel along the Greenland coast.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in all phases of port projects, from registration to execution
• Work on renovation, new construction and strategic planning advice
• Build local knowledge of the cities and regions and explore Arctic engineering technology
• Own your specialist area within cross-functional project teams
• Travel for port projects along the Greenland coast

Required profile

• Outgoing, engaged, flexible and solution-oriented
• Experience calculating space structures and geotechnics
• Experience calculating steel and concrete structures
• Experience preparing work descriptions
• 1-5 years or 15+ years of experience; the role can be adapted to your background
• Comfortable in a diverse environment; Greenlandic/Arctic project experience is an advantage but not required

Required skills

• Revit or MicroStation
• Plaxis or similar geotechnical software (optional)
• Optional: infrastructure projects, construction management or project management experience
