About the role

Atuarfik Tuiisaq, a three‑section school with approximately 170 pupils, is looking for a Vice School Inspector to join its leadership team. The position starts as soon as possible and involves supporting the school inspector in managing the school’s educational and organisational development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the school inspector in overall school management and decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Project‑Based Learning (PBL) method.
• Support the three department heads in pedagogical and organisational improvements.
• Plan, delegate and follow up on tasks across the primary, middle and upper school sections.
• Collaborate with the special‑class teacher, school counsellor and other staff members.

Required profile

• Completed teacher education.
• Willingness to assume independent leadership responsibility.
• Open, loyal and able to build strong relationships.
• Ability to work purposefully and make decisions under pressure.
• Bilingualism in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer software (EDB programs).
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Decision‑making and delegation skills.
