About the role

The municipality of Sermersooq is seeking a student assistant for its Building Cases Department (Area Authority & Building Authority) in Nuuk. The position is part‑time (approximately 10‑20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling to accommodate studies and exams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of tasks related to land management and building case administration.
• Support digital work processes and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with department staff and the immediate manager.
• Adapt duties to match personal interests and competencies.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a higher‑education program.
• Motivated to handle diverse assignments and comfortable with digital tools.
• Service‑oriented, responsible, and able to work well in a team.
• Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with GIS applications (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Optional: Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish.
