Satellite Controller – Active Secret Clearance Required

About the role

The Satellite Controller will support the Satellite Control Network Operations for the STORMS contract at Pituffik SB (Thule), Greenland. You will be responsible for operating, configuring, and maintaining communications‑electronics equipment at Remote Tracking Stations to ensure continuous satellite communications.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain assigned satellite systems during support, test, and maintenance activities.
• Initiate, direct, and verify operational events for acquisition, tracking, and commanding of satellites.
• Perform Senior Contract Representative duties as required.
• Maintain awareness of station equipment status and execute COMSEC duties.
• Assist with equipment repairs, alignment, and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Prepare daily activity logs and perform systems administration on mission‑related equipment.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to assigned trainees.

Required profile

• Active SECRET security clearance (or higher) and U.S. citizenship.
• High School diploma or GED; ability to work at heights and perform strenuous physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Required skills

• Use of electronic test equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, signal generators, power meters, data analyzers.
• Familiarity with COMSEC procedures.
