Managing Director for Rambøll Greenland

About the role

Rambøll Greenland is seeking an experienced, business‑oriented leader to head the company. As Managing Director you will be responsible for the overall strategy, growth and operations of the organisation, working closely with the global Rambøll network.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic direction for Rambøll Greenland in line with the group’s overall strategy.
• Take full responsibility for the company’s financial performance.
• Lead, develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team of about 20 engineers, constructors and project managers.
• Ensure effective resource planning across projects, locations and competencies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders in Greenland.
• Drive business development and oversee contract management, proposal quality and commercial decisions.
• Represent Rambøll Greenland on the market board and coordinate cross‑business‑area collaboration.

Required profile

• Solid leadership experience, preferably in construction, engineering consultancy or a related technical field.
• Strong business understanding and ability to balance strategic direction with day‑to‑day involvement.
• Extensive network and proven ability to build trust with public and private actors.
• Deep knowledge of Greenlandic society, culture and business environment; local language a plus.
• Engineering or other relevant technical background with several years in a senior role.
