About the role

Greenland Airports is looking for a qualified truck or construction‑equipment mechanic to join the small team at the Nerlerit Inaat airport. The position offers a unique chance to work in an Arctic environment while maintaining critical airport machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair airport equipment including Mercedes trucks, snow‑clearing machines, construction machines, forklifts, Volvo D9 generators and fire‑fighting vehicles.
• Participate in airport security, fire and sea‑rescue teams, and provide ad‑hoc support to other departments as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified truck mechanic or equivalent background with 3‑5 years of industry experience.
• Proven experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, ability to work independently, and a clean criminal record.
