About the role

The municipality is looking for a qualified nutrition assistant to work in the Uiloq daycare. You will be responsible for planning and preparing healthy meals for children from newborns to three years old. The position works closely with pedagogical staff to support good eating habits.

Key responsibilities

• Plan weekly menus and prepare varied, child‑friendly meals that meet nutritional standards.
• Cook meals for infants just starting solid foods up to three‑year‑old children.
• Manage allergies, intolerances and documented dietary needs safely.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, temperature control, cleaning and documented self‑checks.
• Prevent food waste by using raw materials responsibly and sustainably.
• Collaborate with the manager and pedagogical staff on meal planning and healthy habits.

Required profile

• Qualified as a nutrition assistant.
• Willingness to work in a daycare environment with young children.
• Ability to produce nutrition‑appropriate, varied meals for the specified age groups.
• Capable of working independently while cooperating with colleagues.
• Good communication skills and reliable attendance.
