About the role

The Operations Department of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq in Tasiilaq is looking for an administrative project consultant to manage operation and maintenance projects related to the municipality’s building and infrastructure assets in Tasiilaq and the surrounding smaller settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, monitor and follow up on various operation and maintenance projects, ensuring time, quality and budget are controlled.
• Continuously assess maintenance needs across the municipality’s building and infrastructure portfolio.
• Provide local input for the municipality’s operational and construction budgeting.
• Supervise and ensure project execution within agreed limits.
• Collaborate constructively with colleagues in Tasiilaq and Nuuk on tasks and projects.

Required profile

• Experience with operation and maintenance activities.
• Basic understanding of building technology and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with IT tools, primarily the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate clearly in both written and spoken form.
• Self‑driven, positive, engaged and responsible attitude, with flexibility to adapt to unpredictable daily work.
