About the role

The position is the leader of the Nanoq after‑school programme in Paamiut, serving children in grades 1‑3. The programme operates Monday‑Friday from 07:30 to 16:30 and is located at the Tuiisaq school.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and ensure compliance with political frameworks and budgetary limits.
• Collaborate with the sous‑chef to achieve pedagogical goals and implement the annual activity plan.
• Maintain staff coverage according to the established norm (6.5 personnel) and supervise a team that includes a sous‑chef, social assistants, helpers, and a part‑time cleaning assistant.
• Develop and follow up on action plans, activity schedules, and parental communication.
• Organise meetings with staff, users, and parents and keep daily attendance records.

Required profile

• Qualified as a pedagogical professional or equivalent.
• Responsible, organized, creative and able to handle stressful situations.
• Flexible, collaborative, stable and solution‑oriented.
