About the role

The municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a dedicated Socialhjælper to join the staff of Nuka Kindergarten. The role involves supporting the daily activities of 40 children aged 3‑6, working closely with educators, parents, and the rest of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the children when the pedagogues are absent.
• Act as a role model for other staff members.
• Collaborate closely with parents and follow local regulations (Landstingsforordning nr. 62).
• Contribute to a healthy, active, and bully‑free environment.
• Participate in joint activities for children, staff, and families.

Required profile

• Completed education as a Socialhjælper or equivalent.
• Creative, organized, and able to work independently.
• Good collaboration skills with colleagues and parents.
• Flexible, willing to try new experiences, and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and service‑oriented.

Required skills

• None specified beyond the social‑helper qualification.
