Journeyman Logistician

About the role

V2X is seeking a Journeyman Logistician to plan, coordinate and execute logistical support for mission‑critical programs. The role ensures timely delivery, accountability and sustainment of materials, equipment and assets across global sites, including austere locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare procurement requests and equipment orders, ensuring compliance with DoD and DAF policies.
• Check manifests, apply labels and IUID tagging, and pack components for shipment to designated locations.
• Assist with receipt, acceptance and warehouse management at program offices and USG sites, maintaining inventory and location accuracy.
• Support purchasing requests and manage procurement of supplies and materials.
• Oversee logistics activities such as warehousing, transporting, shipping, tracking, delivering and staging equipment to installation sites.
• Prepare and evaluate logistics documentation, including overseas customs paperwork.
• Provide technical data support for engineering and technical documentation to enable timely fielding of systems.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree (or high school diploma/associate degree with at least 7 years of logistics experience).
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience on large, complex programs (or 7 years with a high‑school/associate background).
• Active DoD Secret (Tier 3) clearance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lb.
• Willingness to work in office environments and potentially austere locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
