Two Health Assistants needed at Ippiarsuk

About the role

Ippiarsuk, a residential care home with 34 residents and an activity centre for 35 day‑users, is looking for two qualified health assistants (or equivalent) to join its multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic care, assistance and treatment to residents.
• Implement preventive measures to promote residents' well‑being.
• Engage residents in activating activities.
• Collaborate closely with relatives and the department manager.

Required profile

• Qualified as a Health Assistant or equivalent.
• Stable, responsible and able to work independently while maintaining an overview of tasks.
• Team‑oriented, loyal and respectful towards elderly users.
• Physically and mentally strong, with solid experience in elder care.
• Willing to take on new tasks as the facility develops.

Required skills

• Basic nursing and caregiving techniques.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work autonomously.
• Good communication skills in Danish and/or Greenlandic (optional).
