About the role

Atuarfik Ilasiaq, a newly expanding special‑needs school in Sermersooq, is looking for two dedicated teachers to work with students who have diverse special‑education requirements, including autism spectrum disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and adapt lessons to meet each student’s individual learning needs.
• Participate in the development of the school’s academic and pedagogical profile.
• Collaborate closely with fellow staff, external specialists and families to support student progress.

Required profile

• Completed teacher education, preferably with additional training or experience in special pedagogy.
• Ability to create safe, motivating and inclusive learning environments.
• Commitment to fostering student development, wellbeing and inclusion.
