About the role

Atuarfik Hans Lynge school in Nuuk is looking for engaged, caring support persons for part‑time positions (20 hours per week) to assist children with various needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide social‑pedagogical support according to each child’s action plan.
• Assist children with daily tasks and promote increased independence.
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and status meetings with administration and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and prepare status reports.

Required profile

• Qualified as a support person or with a pedagogical education, preferably with knowledge of diagnoses and disabilities.
• Robust, patient, friendly, collaborative, responsible and respectful.
• Able to work independently and engage in pedagogical discussions.
• Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with children and youth, practical assistance skills.
