About the role

Ippiarsuk, a residential care home for 34 residents and an activity centre for 35 day‑users, is looking for a qualified Health Assistant to join its multidisciplinary team. You will work directly with elderly residents and their relatives, ensuring safe and compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing‑related tasks such as medication administration, clinical observations and thorough documentation.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to residents, fostering a respectful and person‑centered environment.
• Participate in mixed day, evening and night shifts, including a weekend rotation every second weekend.
• Act as a practice supervisor for students, delivering teaching and guidance.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, health aides, and other staff to maintain high professional standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Health Assistant (Sundhedsassistent) or equivalent.
• Solid clinical experience and a responsible attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and a positive, collaborative mindset.
• Interest in elderly care and willingness to contribute to a creative, supportive environment.
• Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage but not mandatory.
