About the role

Puiaq, an integrated day institution in Greenland, is looking for four qualified social assistants (or equivalent qualifications) to support the development, daily operation, and retention of children in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement development‑focused activities for children.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents in pedagogical discussions.
• Contribute to creating a safe, creative, and nature‑based learning atmosphere.
• Maintain documentation and participate in evaluation of interventions.

Required profile

• Formal education in the social sector (social assistant, social helper, pedagogical assistant, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Willingness to cooperate with staff and families.
• Flexibility and openness to change.
• Fluency in Danish; knowledge of Greenlandic is an advantage but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Planning of child‑centered activities.
• Effective communication with children, parents, and team members.
