About the role

The Soralu integrated daycare centre is seeking a dedicated Social Helper to contribute to the development and daily operation of a child‑focused institution. You will work on building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues while supporting the wellbeing and growth of each child.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes positive relationships.
• Plan and implement development‑focused activities for infants and preschoolers.
• Collaborate with staff and parents in pedagogical discussions and decision‑making.
• Support the institution’s goals for child development, group dynamics and overall wellbeing.
• Maintain documentation and comply with required background and child‑protection checks.

Required profile

• Qualified as a Social Helper (socialhjælper).
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
• Strong collaborative attitude toward colleagues and families.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing needs.
• Knowledge of activity planning for young children.
• Fluency in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, not a requirement.
