About the role

We are looking for an engaged and dedicated Social Helper to join our integrated childcare institution, Annersuaq. The role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of a nurturing environment where each child’s growth and well‑being are prioritized.

Key responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of two nursery groups (12 children each) and two kindergarten groups (20 children each).
• Plan and implement development‑focused activities that promote respect for diversity and safe, supportive surroundings.
• Collaborate with the manager, deputy manager, department leader, educators and parents to achieve the institution’s goals.
• Take responsibility for creating consistent, positive routines for children throughout the day (07:00‑17:00).
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with required background checks.

Required profile

• Qualified as a social helper (socialhjælper).
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Strong collaborative attitude toward colleagues and families.
• Capacity to plan and organise enriching activities for children.
