About the role

The Intelligence & Analysis Section of the Greenland Police is looking for a social‑science intern for the spring semester of 2027. You will support the team in monitoring organized crime, analysing crime patterns and contributing to assessments of the geopolitical situation in Greenland.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and monitoring of data on organized crime.
• Conduct analyses that identify trends and developments in criminal activity.
• Prepare and deliver short presentations to police colleagues.
• Participate in internal and external meetings related to intelligence work.
• Support the monitoring of geopolitical developments and their impact on Greenland.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a bachelor or master programme in a social‑science field (e.g., political science, sociology, criminology, cybersecurity).
• Strong analytical and methodological abilities.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a structured way.
• Interest in police work and the role of law enforcement in society.
