About the role

We are looking for a reliable cleaning assistant to maintain a clean and welcoming environment at a vibrant youth and children centre. The role involves visible cleaning during operating hours, requiring courteous interaction with visitors and flexible time management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of all areas, including studios, rehearsal rooms and public spaces.
• Ensure cleanliness while the building is in use, coordinating with centre activities.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition.
• Follow hygiene and safety protocols, including a mandatory hygiene course.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience (formal training not required).
• Ability to understand and read Greenlandic; Danish is a plus.
• Responsible, deadline‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Friendly attitude toward centre users and external visitors.
• Flexible and good at planning personal work time.

Required skills

• Full‑time position (approximately 40 hours per week).
• Hygiene training and appropriate work tools.
• Employment under the collective agreement of Greenlandic Self‑Government.
• Three‑month probation period.
• No staff housing provided.
