About the role

The integrated daycare in Tasiilaq is looking for a dedicated assistant to support the daily care of children aged 0‑6. You will work alongside the manager, sous‑chef, educators and other staff to create a safe, stimulating environment for the children.

Key responsibilities

• Assist educators in supervising and engaging children during the opening hours (07:00‑17:00).
• Support individual needs of children, ensuring their well‑being, health and happiness.
• Help maintain a clean and organized environment, including basic tidying and preparation of materials.
• Collaborate with parents, staff and external partners, communicating openly and respectfully.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development courses offered by the institution.

Required profile

• Presence and ability to act as a positive role model for children.
• Attentive to each child’s individual needs and development.
• Honest, open and easy to cooperate with colleagues, parents and children.
• Willingness to respect legal requirements and contribute to children’s growth.
• Bilingual ability in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not mandatory.
