About the role

The Food Authority is establishing a new office in Nuuk, Greenland. As the leader of this office you will be responsible for daily operations, managing a small team, and shaping the collaboration with Greenlandic authorities and Danish partners.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure stable and efficient office operations while the unit is still being built.
• Lead, develop and motivate a team of four employees.
• Coordinate with Greenlandic businesses, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Develop cross‑border cooperation between Greenlandic and Danish agencies.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the Food Authority’s northern activities.
• Manage the practical aspects of the office, including facilities and logistics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in people management and operational leadership.
• Ability to work in a politically governed environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong overview and prioritisation skills in a context where tasks are still evolving.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Greenland and Denmark.
