About the role

The Paannaat nursery is looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation for 24 children aged 0‑3. The position starts as soon as possible, based on mutual agreement, and works within the nursery’s opening hours of 07:00‑17:00, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals in line with the institution’s nutrition policy.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with nursery staff, parents, and external partners.
• Work independently while taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Assist the kitchen team and support the “flying” assistant as needed.

Required profile

• Experience as a kitchen assistant or similar food‑service role.
• Creative, organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards children.
• Flexibility to try new approaches and adapt to the nursery environment.
• Willingness to obtain a criminal record check and child protection certificate.
