About the role

The municipality of Sermersooq is seeking a motivated Nutrition Assistant to join the integrated institution Soralu. You will be responsible for daily food preparation and ensuring a safe, varied, and nutritious menu for children aged 0‑6 years.

Key responsibilities

• Order food supplies and manage inventory.
• Prepare meals, including special diets for children with allergies.
• Develop varied meal plans that meet nutritional standards.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and perform cleaning according to self‑control procedures.
• Work independently while collaborating with staff, parents, and children.

Required profile

• Qualified Nutrition Assistant.
• Experience preparing healthy meals for young children.
• Knowledge of allergen‑friendly cooking.
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Collaborative, positive attitude toward children, staff, and parents.
• Fluency in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, not a requirement.
