About the role

The Bygdeleder (Village Leader) will manage the daily operations of the Citizen Service department in Tiilerilaaq, ensuring efficient handling of citizen inquiries and coordination with other municipal units.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily service to the department and guarantee timely case handling of citizen requests.
• Support other departments, including the village council, on administrative matters.
• Process social benefit applications, compile time reports, and forward relevant documentation.
• Maintain archives and assist citizens in using self‑service platforms.
• Forward notices, manage applications to Iserit, and collaborate with the Child and Family Center.
• Handle additional citizen applications, administrative tasks, and operating budgets.
• Coordinate communication between the municipality, the village council, and residents.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Independent and versatile work style.
• Organised, tidy, and able to collaborate easily.
• Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide a criminal record certificate as required by law.
