Assistent til Borgerservice i Kulusuk

About the role

The municipality of Sermersooq is looking for an Assistant to support the Citizen Service department in the village of Kulusuk. The position starts on 1 October 2026 (or later by agreement) and works Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑16:00.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily service to the Citizen Service department and ensure proper handling of citizen inquiries.
• Assist other municipal units, including the village council, with case processing and information forwarding.
• Process social benefit applications, compile and forward time‑reporting data, and manage archiving tasks.
• Help residents use the self‑service portal for Sullissivik and forward relevant notices.
• Handle applications to Iserit and other agencies, coordinating with the Child and Family Center.
• Perform administrative duties such as operating budgets, coordination between the municipality, village council, and citizens, and ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and adapt to varied tasks.
• Organised, tidy and able to collaborate well with colleagues.
• Outgoing personality with good communication skills.
• Willingness to provide a criminal‑record certificate before employment can commence.
