About the role

STARK Nuuk is looking for a Department Director to lead its local operations. You will be the top manager responsible for 13 employees, reporting directly to the Regional Director, and will drive sales, operations, development and overall business results.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the ambassador for STARK in the local area, developing the business together with customers, employees and the company.
• Lead and manage staff, optimise sales, control costs, and implement strategic initiatives.
• Plan, execute and monitor sales‑promoting activities in collaboration with the local leadership team.
• Maintain a visible and supportive presence for managers and employees, ensuring wellbeing and efficiency.
• Oversee budget management, KPI tracking and analyse business data to identify growth opportunities.
• Generate sales for own customers and build a network of relationships with suppliers, customers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in personnel management, B2B and B2C sales or sales leadership.
• Strong business understanding and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
• Goal‑oriented, effective communicator with visible leadership.
